Advice for young people worried about their own relationship
If you are in a relationship and you feel scared or controlled by the person you're with, you may be experiencing abuse. You don’t have to be living with someone for abuse to occur. It can happen in any relationship, regardless of gender, and can continue once the relationship is over. It is important to remember that experiencing abuse is never your fault and you can ask for help.

Advice for young people worried about an adult
If an adult in your life is acting abusively towards another adult who is important to you, you may be feeling frightened, anxious, sad or angry. You might not feel sure about whether what is happening is domestic abuse. If they are bullying, using violence, or you are frightened, speak to someone about this.
You can find out more about domestic abuse on the Childline website.
Remember, it is not your fault. You can ask for help from someone you trust such as teacher, support worker, or another adult.
