If you are likely to be made homeless within the next 56 days, call 0121 633 1750 to make an appointment with the Domestic Abuse Housing Solution and Support Service. Appointments take place Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (except bank holidays).
The service provides both female and male survivors of domestic abuse specialist support to:
- maintain your tenancy
- avoid homelessness
- integrate safely into communities
Support for women at risk of homelessness
Women experiencing domestic abuse can get help from our Domestic Abuse Homelessness Hub, which works with the charity Cranstoun.
The service can help support you to:
- get safe housing
- get into refuge accommodation
- secure your existing home
- find safe long term suitable accommodation
- get referrals to culturally sensitive support services

Housing support at weekends and evenings
If you are aged 18 or older
Call the out of hours service on 0121 303 2296 if you:
- are aged 18 years or older
- have to leave your home in the evening or at a weekend
Lines open: Monday to Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00am the next morning, and 5:00pm on Friday to 9:00am on Monday.
If you are under 18 years old
Call the Children’s Advice and Support Service on 0121 675 4806 if you:
- are aged under 18 years
- have to leave your home in the evening or at a weekend
Lines open: Monday to Thursday from 5:15pm to 9:00am the next morning, and from 4:15pm on Friday to 9:00am on Monday.
