Report a change in circumstances
You must tell us if:
- you get another property
- your property becomes empty
- you make changes to the property that increase its value
- your business changes
- you move premises
- the rateable value of a property you use outside of Birmingham increases
You’ll usually need to pay the new rate starting from the day your circumstances changed.
To tell us your circumstances have changed, contact us.
You must tell us of any changes to your circumstances as soon as possible. You will not receive a business rate reduction until you have told us.
