Peaky Blinders

The Peaky Blinders were a criminal gang associated with various streets and areas in 1890s Birmingham and were infamous for their violence and fighting with metal-tipped boots, stones, belt buckles and sometimes knives.

Their activities were primarily based around the Small Heath area of Birmingham although their reputation and ill-fame was often embellished. Stories of them continue today in the BBC2 drama series.
