Where else can I borrow performance sets?

Some library services may deal directly with you. You can view the national online catalogue of vocal and orchestral sets (ENCORE 21).

Check individual websites for details. We can’t request performance sets from other library authorities on your behalf.

Some music is only available on commercial hire from publishers. This applies particularly to twentieth century orchestral music. If you have checked the Encore catalogue and the piece is not visible, check publisher websites or use Zinfonia to find a commercial hirer. 

If you feel that the piece you would like to perform may be of interest to other local organisations, email us and we may consider purchasing the set for our collection. This would only be possible if sufficient notice is given.

Although we will consider all suggestions, we do not guarantee to buy everything.
