Information for parents and carers

The ITT programme works closely with parents and carers to make the training a positive experience for everyone.

A parent of an ITT student told us how the training had benefitted their family:

You can help your child or ward by encouraging them on each step of the training, and helping them in certain areas such as problem solving or practicing road safety.

We will soon be adding fact sheets and an ITT workbook, which will give advice about how you can help your child or ward reach their independent travel goal.
