Section 60 of COPA

Section 60 of COPA gives Birmingham City Council (BCC) the power to serve a notice imposing requirements as to the way in which construction works are to be carried out.

BCC usually serve these notices when a noise complaint has been made about activities at the site. However, the council can serve these notices before any works have started.
