Get involved
Registration of interest
If you would like to become more involved, or to register your interest in supporting the project:
Focus group
We are looking for interested people across all community groups who live in the Tyseley and Hay Mills ward to join a liveable neighbourhood focus group. Work with us at each key step of the project design process, on the development of the strategy, and the delivery plan as they progress.
Positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will do our best to ensure an equal representation of members from all demographic groups in the ward.
Digital engagement tool test
We want to know who will be willing to help us develop the digital engagement tool, in a feedback role or actively working with us on the development of the tool.
If you want to have an informal chat about how you could get involved, you can do so by contacting our friendly community researchers.
Next steps
After 31 March 2025 we will collate all the information received on the engagement phase and produce a consultation statement.
We will then begin to draft the strategy based on this information and come back later in 2025 with the first version.
We will be working with anyone who has expressed an interest in joining a focus group during this time, to sense check it as it develops.
Future community day - coming soon
Working with local partners we plan to have a local community day in late February or early March 2025. You will have the chance to come along and talk to us and the researchers about the project, and also be able to take part in the other activities.
Details on this will be posted here when they are available.
Contact us
If you want to arrange to have a chat with our community researchers about the project and surveys, email the main project team at LNPILOT@birmingham.goiv.uk.
We welcome invites to local groups, or if you would be okay with our researchers interviewing you about the area. They can also help you friends and family take part by translating the surveys for them if they need it.
