Birmingham City Council (BCC) intends to implement the Department for Transport mandatory guidance for taxi and private hire licensing, as well as making other improvements and changes to the way in which licences are administered.

Please note, whilst BCC is interested in your views, the mandatory nature of the guidance requires many of these measures to be implemented unless there are compelling reasons not to do so.
