Paradise Circus multi-storey car park closure

Paradise Circus multi-storey car park is now permanently closed. The land will instead be used for a new residential development. The car park was due to be demolished in September 2023, however, works on this have been deferred until early 2024.

To facilitate the demolition, a temporary one-way traffic restriction will apply to the section of Cambridge Street between Brindley Drive and Lyon Queensway, with traffic flowing towards Lyon Queensway. Only limited traffic flows will be authorised to use this section of Cambridge Street, as access will be restricted to buses, taxis, authorised vehicles, and off-street premises.

The one-way restriction is expected to apply from 24 September 2023, and will likely be in place until the end of January 2024
