Support with feeding your baby
While you are pregnant, it is a good idea to think about how you will feed your baby. If you are unsure where to seek help and information then there are teams locally ready to help.
- Children's services: Infant Feeding team supports and promotes breastfeeding and safe formula feeding practices.
- Infant Feeding Support is available as part of the Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System
- BUMP information leaflets give information on breastfeeding, social media links and NHS support services, in a range of languages.
Breastfeeding
If you are thinking of breastfeeding your baby, Whittington Hospital's infant feeding team has produced a virtual version of their antenatal breastfeeding workshop.
You can talk to your midwife about live sessions you can watch.
