- Speak to your GP, or local pharmacy for more information about HIV and how to get tested
- Umbrella, the Birmingham sexual health service, offers free self-sampling HIV testing kits so you can get tested from home. Umbrella also offers free HIV testing in all their clinics.

Hepatitis (B and C)
- A blood test is carried out to see if someone has hepatitis B. Anyone at risk of hepatitis B can access free hepatitis B testing through the Umbrella sexual health service and GPs. Change Grow Live (CGL) in Birmingham also offer testing for hepatitis B.
- A blood test is carried out to see if someone has hepatitis C. GPs, Umbrella Sexual Health clinics and Change Grow Live (CGL) in Birmingham all offer testing for hepatitis C.
- Free self-testing kits are available for Hepatitis C through the NHS.
- The Hep C Trust team also test in community settings for HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C using dry blood spot tests.
