Capacity and groups
The visiting group capacity for the Children’s Library should not exceed more than 30 children (approx 1 class group) plus attending adults (teachers etc). This is to ensure your group has good access to the resources they have come to use as well as those members of the public already who using the library that day.
If you are requesting to bring in larger groups e.g. two classes, then you will need to split/rotate the classes so that there is only one class in the Children's Library at any one time.
If your group has not completed the visit registration form and the Children’s Library is already at capacity or access is restricted due to an event/activity, you will be requested to visit the other floors at the Library of Birmingham instead.
