Gym
For your safety and wellbeing:
- wash/sanitise your hands as you arrive
- clean equipment with the sanitising wipes/sprays before and after use
Juniors
Juniors aged 14 and 15 years old can use the fitness studio. They must bring proof of age and a letter of consent from their parent or guardian to the first session.
Juniors can only use the fitness studio at certain times and at other times must be accompanied by an adult.
To use the gym, each child must complete a 3-stage induction process, where they will be shown how to use the equipment safely.
After that, children can visit the gym as often as they like, paying for each visit separately. Alternatively, monthly membership is available.
Induction
If you have never used a fitness gym before, you will first need to book a starter programme or full programme session with a fitness instructor, who will show you how to use the equipment and free weights safely and advise you on getting the best possible results.
During your session a programme will be designed to meet your fitness goals. As you become fitter your programme will become easier.
It is important to have your programme reviewed regularly by an instructor to continue your progress towards a much fitter you!
Before using a fitness gym, we will ask you to fill out a medical profile card. This will enable one of our instructors to plan your exercise programme.
Your instructor may refer you to your doctor if we need more information about a medical condition.
