Update of the Birmingham Development Plan (new Birmingham Plan)
We are working on a new Local Plan for Birmingham which will guide how the city will develop in the future and provide policies to guide decisions on development proposals and planning applications up to 2042.
This will replace the Birmingham Development Plan (2017), Aston, Newtown and Lozells Area Action Plan (2012) and Longbridge Area Action (2009) once adopted.
