Most of our sites have a closed season from 15 March to 15 June each year. You cannot fish during this time.
Where you can fish
You can fish at 14 parks across the city:
- Brookvale Park - Park Road, Erdington
- Cannon Hill Park - Russell Road, Moseley
- Edgbaston Reservoir - Reservoir Road, Edgbaston
- Fox Hollies Park - Gospel Lane, Acocks Green
- Lifford Reservoir - Tunnel Lane, Kings Norton
- Manor Farm Park - Bristol Road South, Northfield
- Norman Chamberlain Playing Fields - Packington Avenue, Shard End
- Perry Park - Church Road, Perry Barr
- Pype Hayes Park - Chester Road, Erdington
- Salford Park - Lichfield Road, Nechells
- Shenley Fields Recreation Ground - Shenley Fields Road, Weoley Castle
- Swanshurst Park, off Yardley Wood Road/Swanshurst Lane, Kings Heath
- Trittiford Mill Pool - Priory Road, Yardley Wood
You can also fish at Sutton Park National Nature Reserve, in Blackroot, Bracebridge, Powells and Keepers Pools. These pools have designated fishing areas. For further information, contact Sutton Park Visitor Centre.
