Birmingham gears up for round 2 of the big hackathon
IT developers are invited to take part in an exciting Hackathon event looking for solutions to support Adult Education Services.
Following a successful event in January, Birmingham City Council will be hosting the Big Birmingham Hackathon-Round 2.
The council has teamed up with Easyrights EU and Birmingham Adult Education Service to host the online event which will be taking place Thursday 2 December 2021 to Saturday 4 December 2021.
For the event, Hackathon participants will be challenged with coming up with IT Solutions to support migrant communities using English teaching Services available through Adult Education.
By hosting this Hackathon event, the Council aims to work with the winning developer to create an effective ‘one stop digital solution’ to provide Migrant communities with the key information needed to access local language centres.
The council is keen for IT Developers to sign up to take part in the event which promises to be an innovative and creative space for talent to shine.
If you would like to register as a participant, please sign up via Eventbrite. Registration for the event closes 1 December 2021.
