Birmingham Transport Summit 2023
The Birmingham Transport Summit took place at the Council House on Wednesday 26 April 2023.
The summit, hosted by Cllr Liz Clements, Cabinet Member for Transport, featured a range of inspiring speakers and panellists from Birmingham and the West Midlands, and from across the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe.
The keynote speaker was Pascal Smet, State Secretary of the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium with responsibility for Urbanism and Heritage. Pascal shared some fascinating insight about his work transforming Brussels over recent years.

At the event, we shared some details about the Birmingham transport plan (BTP) delivery plan, outlining how the goals and principles of the BTP will be achieved and implemented over the coming years.
