Case study: Creating an Active Birmingham (CAB) strategy
The Creating an Active Birmingham (CAB) strategy has been developed to address low levels of physical activity in Birmingham, and will direct actions in Birmingham between 2024 and 2034.
We needed input from residents and organisations within Birmingham because we could not do it alone.
As a result, we asked the public to feedback on the strategy using a consultation questionnaire.
The questionnaire included the demographic questionnaire from the Birmingham public health measurement toolbox, which enabled the physical activity team to understand the characteristics of those who had provided feedback on the strategy.
We also created a spreadsheet to collate the results and how they were analysed.
