Why we are asking for case studies
We want to make sure that the food justice interventions database continues to grow and is enriched with studies and intervention proactive cities and stakeholders like you. If your city is working towards achieving food justice and wish to sign the pledge or share your initiatives, we invite you to submit your case studies. Here's how you can provide your invaluable contribution:
Express your commitment
- Sign the Food Justice Pledge: If your city is passionate about combating food injustice and wishes to stand in solidarity with our mission, sign our pledge.
- Submission via email: To express your commitment, email FoodSystemPH@birmingham.gov.uk. Ensure that your email subject reads ‘Food Justice Pledge Commitment’. This helps us prioritise your submission and facilitate a swift response.
Share your case study
- Lots of partner cities have already shared their case studies through the Food Cities 2022 learning platform. Their initiatives might provide you with insights and perspectives that could be beneficial for your city's efforts.
- Provide a comprehensive overview: Detail your case study by clearly explaining the interventions you've undertaken, challenges encountered, strategies employed, and the outcomes achieved. Include any supplementary materials such as reports, photographs or related documents in your email.
