What do Bolder Healthier Champions do?
Bolder Healthier Champions work with us as important advocates on key health topics having the opportunity to work closely with the public health team to design and create useful and shareable information so local communities can take control of their own health and wellbeing.
Bolder Healthier Champions will be supported by:
- a monthly newsletter
- regular webinars
- a monitored and updated website
- opportunities for training
- relevant and topical resources to use in ongoing work
Additionally, we will host sessions focused on health and wellbeing issues affecting local communities. We will also be reflecting on discussions from the last two years of engagement with COVID-19 Champions and seeking feedback as the programme progresses.
Being a Bolder Healthier Champion is a great opportunity to use local knowledge and understanding of communities to support and guide the people to improve the own health and wellbeing of themselves and those close to them.
Be aware that being a Bolder Healthier Champion is not an enforcement or regulatory role.
