Help when your asylum claim is accepted or withdrawn
Move-on support
This is support after you have received a decision on your claim for asylum.
The Refugee and Migrant Centre provide a free, comprehensive move-on support programme to help newly granted refugees living in Birmingham.
They can help you with:
- biometric residence cards and other identity related issues
- welfare benefit eligibility
- housing advice
- healthcare and wellbeing
- education and language skills
- local amenities and social connections
To get a face-to-face appointment and access move-on support services, email laaslob@rmcentre.org.uk.
Help if your asylum claim is withdrawn
If your asylum claim has been withdrawn by the Home Office, and you will lose your support and Serco-managed accommodation, you can get help from Refugee Action’s Care Project.
