Order a birth certificate
All certificates issued are original certified documents.
We can only provide certificates for births that were registered in Birmingham (for example, Marston Green is in Solihull so we cannot provide copies of certificates). You can check which Register Office to apply to on GOV.UK's website.
For birth certificates of a person born in Birmingham and then legally adopted you will need to apply to the Adopted Children’s Register at the General Register Office.
Certificates cost £12.50 each. You can ask for copies of several different certificates as part of the same order.
If we cannot find a matching entry for the certificate you have asked for, we will not refund the full fee.
A full birth certificate shows all the information contained in the birth record, including parents details. This is the type most often required.

You should also read our Terms and Conditions and payment information.
