Make request to speak at a Planning Committee meeting
If you want to register to speak you must complete the register to speak at a Planning Committee form, no other form of request will be valid.
When you express an interest in speaking at Birmingham City Council Planning Committee you will be asked for your name and contact details in order for us to be able to notify you of the date and time of the Planning Committee that is applicable to you.
Where there is more than one interested party regarding the same planning application wishing to speak the three minute allocated time slot will need to be shared. It may be helpful therefore for the interested parties to collaborate with each other in order to allocate equal time within the three minute allowance.
If you are happy for us to share your contact details with other interested parties, let us know. This consent can be removed at any time by contacting Committee Services via email PlanningandRegenerationEnquiries@birmingham.gov.uk
We are required to notify the Planning Committee Members that there are speakers registered for a particular planning application.
If you are happy for us to provide the Planning Committee Members with your name, let us know. This consent can be removed at any time by contacting Committee Services via email PlanningandRegenerationEnquiries@birmingham.gov.uk
Note that your contact details will be deleted from our records once a decision has been reached on the Planning Application
If you have any concerns regarding the way we are collecting and using your personal information, you should contact the Data Protection Officer at infogovernance@birmingham.gov.uk or write to Corporate Information Management Team, PO Box 16366, Birmingham.
