Highways standard construction method drawings

Here you will find Birmingham City Council’s set of standard detail drawings which show the construction methods to be used in highway schemes throughout the city. They have been produced to reduce the repetition of design work and to promote consistency across the highway network.

Designers or third parties must ensure that the standard detail drawing satisfies all requirements of the scheme which they wish to apply it to. Birmingham City Council accepts no responsibility for unauthorised use of any standard detail drawing.
