Novice led ride |
Suitable for those new to the centre or improver riders who can control a horse/pony in walk and trot independently. Before you go on the hack, you must have a 30 minute assessment lesson so that we can ensure your safety and make sure we have chosen a horse suitable for your ability. If your standard of riding is acceptable, your hack can be arranged for the same day or at a future date. If not, we will suggest a few brush-up lessons before you go on a hack. If you ride at the centre regularly and we know your standard of riding, you can book a novice trek without having an assessment lesson first. The one hour canter hacks are available:
They will also be available during the school holidays. |

Advanced canter hack |
Suitable for new to the centre/improver riders who can control a horse/pony in walk, trot and canter independently. It is important that a 30-minute assessment lesson takes place so that we can ensure your safety and have chosen the right horse suitable for your competence. This is usually done before the 1 hour canter hack, which if the standard of riding is acceptable can be arranged for the same day or at a future date. If not we will suggest a few brush-up lessons prior to attempting this ride. Regular riders at the centre who we know are at the standard can book a canter trek without the 30-minute assessment. |
