Dog fouling

Dog waste should be bagged and can be put in any park's litter bin. All bins are emptied at least once a week.

Report a dog bin that needs emptying

It is an offence not to clean up after your dog when it fouls on public land. This includes:

  • pavements
  • paths
  • playing fields
  • grass verges
  • gutters
  • carriageways

Any person caught not clearing up is committing an offence under The Fouling of Land by Dogs Order 2017 and is liable to receive a fixed penalty notice of £100.

You can report dog fouling to us online.
