Refund policy

Unless otherwise stated below fees for all General Licensing functions are payable on application. All applications must be accompanied by the requisite Application Fee before the application will be accepted or administered.

The application fee is non-refundable.  This includes those applications that are refused following a hearing by the Committee, or applications which are withdrawn or discontinued.

Licensing Act 2003 fees

No refund is payable for any withdrawn or refused applications/notifications.

In accordance with the Licensing Act 2003, the full fee is refundable for minor variations if the Licensing Authority fails to determine the application within the statutory time period.

Gambling Act 2005 fees

No refund is payable for any withdrawn or refused applications/notifications.

Scrap metal dealers

No refund of application fee will be payable for those applications that are either withdrawn refused following a hearing by officers.
