What we can and cannot recycle
Mixed material
We can recycle:
- glass bottles and jars
- plastic bottles
- food and drink cans
- plastic food pots, tubs, and trays
We cannot recycle:
- toughened glass
- pyrex and ceramics
- black plastics
- fruit punnets and meat trays
- microwave meal trays
- tetrapaks
- plastic film
Paper and cardboard
Any paper and cardboard can be recycled, including:
- newspapers and magazines
- large cardboard boxes
- junk mail
- envelopes
- directories and catalogues
- yellow pages and telephone directories
- office paper
- manufacturing off-cuts and scrap
- cereal boxes and microwave meal outers
- toilet roll and kitchen roll inners
