The Alexander Stadium is a world-class standard international athletics venue located within Perry Park to the north of Birmingham, with close links to the M6 and the A34 interchange.
The stadium has been host to major events such as the Diamond League and the British Championships and has recently hosted the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the athletics competition.
Following a £72m capital redevelopment programme in advance of the Games, Alexander Stadium now offers a permanent capacity of 17,250. It includes a range of modern conference, meeting and event spaces to support any type and size of event at the venue.

Alexander Stadium also has a long-standing history and partnership with the world-famous Birchfield Harriers Athletics Club, who are based at the venue.
Birchfield Harriers offer training and competition opportunities for everyone from aged 9 years and over through its club membership.

Location Monday to Friday Saturday and Sunday Gym 7:00am to 9:00pm 8:30am to 5:00pm High Performance Centre (HPC) 8:30am to 9:00pm 8:30am to 4:00pm Note that the HPC hours are subject to private hire bookings.
All HPC sessions must be pre-booked via phone.
