- Four offences following two inspections at Eastside Stores, 178 High Street, Deritend, Birmingham. Three offences of failing to comply with Hygiene Improvement Notices served, requiring a permanent procedure based on the HACCP principles to be put in place and implemented, food handlers to be supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene matters and up to date and accurate information to be available for all foods and drink with regards to the 14 prescribed allergens. One offence of failing to have a documented food safety management system available, allergen management procedures were not in place and high risk foods were kept at unsafe temperatures.
