- Eight offences relating to conditions found at Shah Sweets, 159 Green Lane, Birmingham on five separate dates. There were no procedures in place based on HACCP principles. There were live and dead cockroaches throughout the premises. Several pieces of food equipment were damaged and not easy to clean. The Company failed to comply with an improvement notice requiring pre-packed food for direct sale (PPDS) was compliant with the PPDS labelling requirements. Information provided regarding the allergens was incorrect.
