- Found guilty in absence of six offences relating to conditions found at Hanul Drumetului, 2a Nineveh Road, Birmingham. Knife handles were taped up or were wrapped in kitchen foil. Chopping boards were stained, scored and/or damaged. Plastic bowls were stained, dirty and/or damaged. Shelving and food preparation areas were dirty with mouse droppings on them. Pipes and floors under shelves and sinks; wall and floor tiles, sink taps, an extractor fan and canopy baffle grease filters were dirty. There were gaps and holes in the ceiling of the kitchen, which could allow the ingress of mice. There was mouse activity in the ground floor kitchen, bar area, outside the toilets and in the first floor dining area. There were no permanent procedures based on HACCP.
