- 12 offences relating to conditions found at DFC Chicken, 530 Moseley Road, Birmingham during two inspections. There were no procedures implemented based on HACCP principles. The Company failed to have up to date and accurate information available for all foods and drink with regards to the 14 prescribed allergens. Pre-packed items for direct sale were not compliant with labelling requirements. The premises was dirty and poorly maintained. There was an inadequate number of washbasins with materials for cleaning and drying hands. Equipment was damaged and in poor condition. Food handlers were not wearing suitable protective clothing and there was no evidence to indicate food handlers had received food hygiene training. Ready to eat food was not protected against contamination.
