"Since the (1969) report was published, the City of Birmingham has responded magnificently to the need to face-lift old sites and establish entirely new sites of a very high standard. The re-fashioned Russell Road/Moor Green Farm site which is now nearing completion, will be, together with the already completed Bordesley Green site in the same city, in the forefront of Leisure Garden design in this country."
