Ann Arbour station
-
The station was built in 1886 and designed by Frederick Spier. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and now houses the Gandy Dancer Restaurant. It served the Michigan Central Railroad. That railway was started in 1846.
By 1867 its operations were taken over by the New York Central Railroad company, which in turn became part of Penn Central and then ConRail.
This was posted on 24 November 1909, to Mrs. Jane Jamison of Vancouver, Washington. The card talks of snow on the ground and was written by her cousin Ralph.
