"Theatre Royal Birmingham. The Public are respectfully informed, that, to accommodate the numerous younger Branches of Families who are desirous to see Mr. Grimaldi and His Son, the New Pantomime, (Which was received last Night with the most rapturous Applause) will be performed this Evening as the First Piece.
This present Thursday, June 5, the Performances will commence with the New Comic Pantomime called 'Castles in the Air; or, the Clown's Gambols.' In which will be introduced the celebrated Watchman's Scene, and The Soldier's Scene, from the Pantomime of Harlequin in his Element. Harlequin, Mr. ELLIOTT, Pantaloon, Mr. KEELEY, Squire Booby, Mr. BODDIE, Clown, Mr. GRIMALDI, who will sing two new Comic Songs, called The Clown's Swallow; or, the Monument in Danger and Miss Margaret Muggins. Young Squib, (Clownish Attendant on Harlequin) Master GRIMALDI, Old Woman, Mr. HOLLAND, Baker, Master BIRD, Jew, Mr. PURSALL, Carpenter, Mr. MEEHAN, Man Cook, Mr. BLAND, Barber, Mr. TOBBIN, Constables, Messrs. Johnson and Brown, Doctor Specific, Mr. TURNER, Corporal (with a song) Mr. McKeon, Soldiers, Sailors etc etc Columbine (with a Pas Seul) Miss MANNING, Genii, Miss MEEHAN, Barrell, Wilson, Bland, and Williams, Messdames Neville, Francks and Meehan.
