Wellbeing Zone’s successful launch week
During the last week of September, the new Wellbeing Zone in the Library of Birmingham opened its doors, and what a week it was.
The zone was opened by Dr Justin Varney, who gave a great speech about how the new area can be best used, though we’re always open to innovative ideas!
During the week, we had people from various organisations who got to see exactly what the space can do – please do enquire about how to book this free space! We also had our fair share of curious people coming in to see what was happening and getting their blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse checked on the wellbeing machine in the zone (all free!).
We had people from public health working in the zone for the week, and they enjoyed their time engaging with people. And this was in addition to the sessions on various topics that we gave from the zone during the week – many thanks to all our motivated presenters!
If you’d like to know more or to book the space, please contact enquiries@libraryofbirmingham.com and include ‘Wellbeing Enquiry’ in the subject field.
