What is ageing well?
The health and wellbeing of older citizens in Birmingham is vitally important and being in good health makes a big difference to our quality of life and happiness. However, it is not the only factor in later life. Together with the steps we can take to look after ourselves, such as being mindful of what we eat, keeping physically and mentally active, getting enough sleep and relaxation and maintaining contacts with friends, there are also local organisations offering services and activities to help sustain or even improve our feelings of fulfilment and connection within our local community.
